I dont like the text font you used you can barely make out what it says, apart from that i wonder if you could fix all the edges a bit they seem jagged and a bit pixalated

Thanks, Mario.
As for the font, I just forgot to change it back. I watched the movie for dozens of time, two of my friends have seen the titles at least three or four times, so I just changed the font for fancy. I will keep it for the main title at the beginning, I think, but that's likely to be all. The rest will be like in subtitles. Or is there something wrong with them?
The edges... Unlikely that I'll do anything about them. As I haven't learnt to draw in Flash yet, that will require external editing, and as I'm a lazy one with this being my very first movie, I'll most likely be too eager to finish it as soon as possible. The graphics are overall rotten, so to me the pixelated edges do not appear as an outstanding problem, compared to other things. Still, if you do not think so and if you by chance would like to point out just what very edges need to be fixed most, I'll probably force myself to do something about it. But if you don't feel like it, never mind. The work I present won't be worth any efforts of yours, anyway.

Heck, I might as well post this here. I submitted two music submissions to Newgrounds recently, and I'd be glad if some of you took time out of your busy schedules to listen and tell me what you think (there or here). www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=802217&sub=79501"Down the River from Kievan Rus" (4 mins) This is one of the more melodic things I've ever written. I'm especially proud of the section two minutes into it, with the violin playing a beautiful melody and the harp playing very fast broken chords under it. This was actually an assignment for a certain class I'm taking ("Composers' World Music Ensemble"), so the instrumentation was fixed. Originally, it was: Violin, viola, euphonium, flamenco guitar, santur, marimba. I did try to go for a Russian folk song feel here, despite the very non-Russian instrumentation. "The Great Royal Gallop" (2 mins) My main goal in writing this one was for it to not be boring. There's a lot of stuff packed into the short running time. Instruments: Flute, 2 Trumpets, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba, Marimba. This one was actually written quite a while ago, but I only recently made a decent-quality mp3 file from it. As for how they were done - the entire score was manually written out by myself in Finale 2007 (a score-writing program, mainly), and saved as an audio file using the partial GPO sound library included with Finale.

Hi Mila! Your book looks quite interesting - I especially like your attention to detail. I would definitely buy it if I had children.
I think you should try to visit some places where there are parents looking for interesting things for their kids to read. I don't know where that is exactly, but such places probably exist someplace...

thanks for the welcome. Esn, i'm not trying to sell the book here, when i asked people to let me know if they knew of anyone that might be interested i meant interested in helping me create little animations to promote it on utube. sorry it was a bit confusing. especially since i said i "wrote and animated it" when i meant to say that i wrote and ILLUSTRATED it... thanks for checking out the site!

Well, here's something that MBC might get (and probably no-one else) Bigger version on Deviantart. It's about this commercial here. It's been airing pretty frequently over the past several weeks in Canada... I always thought that it was a bit creepy... Also, here's something I did for a "Depression" article in my university's student newspaper (not written by myself): On Deviantart here.

I made a cat with a program called Art Rage (it is one of the best programs I've ever seen, and for only $25): It was actually my first time using this program, or any paint program really. I used the trial version of the program, and used the chalk and palette knife tools on the default paper. After I was done, I changed the paper to "transparent" and saved it as a PNG (I also reduced the size by 50%). Since he's a transparent PNG, I hope I'll be able to import him into Flash and use him Norshteyn-style (only with far less skill, of course). By the way, Ola, you might be interested in this and this. The art was all painted in ArtRage, and they were animated in Anime Studio. The implications are pretty big. Though I imagine you're already aware of it.
