Hello Ola, i was just looking at Nim's Winter Tale (Again), and i saw when he is about to use his sleigh, there's like a 3D camera effect, like 180º, i'd like to know how did you do that effect. Thx.. Francesc

I am fairly positive that he used Swift 3d for the animation.

I used shapetweening, not Swift 3D. You can make 3D like animation using 2D shapetweening.

The secret is to put each shape on its own layer, each eye, the mouth, hat, arms, shadows, and then animate them separately. In this way you can move them in different ways and create the 3D-like illusion. With the 180 degree spin I also used a very long background image that I moved sideways.

I know what you mean, you have to master shapehints, and in the beginning, try to keep outlines out of it. If you want outlines then it is better to ad them later on.
