Hi there, I am just popping in to write about a couple of things. First of all I attended the first major Animation festival ever her in Stockholm, 2½ days of animation, and it was really nice to see both inspiring and horrible animations.
The festival began with a really nice feature film from some of the best and well known graphical artists of our time:
Fear of the dark www.primalinea.com/pdn/index.html
"Blutch, Charles Burns, Marie Caillou, Pierre di Sciullo, Jerry Kramsky, Lorenzo Mattotti, Richard McGuire, Michel Pirus, Romain Slocombe,
went back to the origins of their terrors and agreed to animate their drawings and inspire them, each one in his unique style, with the rhythm of their nightmares."
A couple of films I would recommend is:
Tot ou Tard (Switzerland, 2007)
Director: Jadwiga Kowalska
05:00 min
Den danske dikteren / The Danish Poet (Norway/Canada, 2006)
Director: Torill Kove
15:00 min

Une Instituut / The Institute Of The Dream (Estonia, 2006)
Director: Mati Kutt

Apart from that I have been working with the first scene of Nim´s Journey, and it will be a grand opening I hope. I have also figured out the music and will in the coming week sit down with a friend who is a composer and sort out the different themes.
It is originally a Swedish folk song that is named "Ack Värmeland, du sköna" Värmland is the part of Sweden where this story takes place.
You can listen to it here:

and here with song:

I will post more info as I get closer to finishing the first scene.
Cheers!!
