The population on this board rises everyday, so perhaps we should all get to know each other a bit, eh I'll start, my name is Melissa, I'm 24 and I live in the only patch of desert land in Canada, but I'm a short drive from the Rocky Mountains when I need a break from the sand and heat, which is nice. Although I'm unemployed this week (just put in my notice) I normally serve in lounges and get paid to get people drunk, then kick them out once they've had enough. Outside of that, I'm a rather anti-social creature so I spend more time than I should in the vast world we call the internet. Thats about all I'll say for now, because if no one else follows up this post I'll look like a rambling fool

Hey !
My name is Alexandre, Alex to the layperson. I'm 17, I'll be 18 in January (yeah, that's 6 months). I live in Paris, in France, and it's a wonderful city, especially the place where I live in, lots of nice bars, restaurants, shops, things to do. Oh well. I don't do much in my life except go to school (right now I'm finishing a two-week holiday), I do a lot of mathematics, physics and biology. And that's about it. I don't like working a lot, I'm lazy. Just like MizzBlackCherry, I'm quite anti-social too, which explains the fact that I stay a lot on the internet instead of going to "parties" and stuff. Meh.

Open up your eyes... Neither racesism nor racism, but racesims. I don't know what that thing is exactly, but reckon it must have something to do with racing and probably games. Guess the phrase "Racesims and everything related to motorsport" is rather clear...

Well that would have been a bad typo wouldnt it? I am not a racist or something like that, i really hate such people. Yes i ment race-sims: Like that: img.photobucket.com/albums/v109/jumi2/LimeHonda.jpgI painted the livery for that car and did some screenshot and retouching. Theres also alot going on, like modifications for existing games/simulators and movies are been made and all that stuff. Race-sims only have a small comunity so i guess they are not that much commonly known, basicly we drive races like you would in real life, just that we do it over the internet. Theres various programs avaible, for example a nascar simulator, F1 or GT cars. Heres a link where you can download some movies made in a race-sim called gpl, wich simulates the 67 formula season, jason woods is the author. jason.speedgeezers.com/jcwoods/html/my_movies.html

My name is Alex....and I'm 15. I live in little ol' england and animator in the training. My taste in music is pretty broad, (kinda swinging in a classic rock direction) but I can listen to most things. I've had a site planned for a few years now, to showcase my music, animation and games, I hope to have content published on the net by the end of next year. Well....what else.....oh. If you didn't notice, I plan ahead a little too much. >.< But that can be a good thing. I speak no other languages apart from english, so the subtitles in your films really help Ola! I am trying to learn Adam Phillips' Solersol language however. That's pretty much it....my fellow forumerz.

If that may help anyone without abusing anyone else.. My name, apart from translation of what you see here into any possible language in several related senses, is lost back there in the real world. I do recall, however, that I live in Moscow, Russia. Nothing really exotic, I must say, though in the Net I've met a couple of times those who thought just the opposite. I'm somewhere between 19 and 20 , which, added to the fact that I was born in Moscow, suggests that I should be a high school student. I am. Though I'm not really studious. I'm awfully lazy, that is. What I'm more or less into is wandering, through the Net, but more through non-virtual places, either seeking most exciting pieces of nature or something unusual and more or less inspiring in the city. I used to be a bad wanderer and, like every other youngster, a bad writer of whatever came to my mind, but the latter skill deteriorated with the time being, whereas the former I still try to improve. To make it a bit more interesting, I sometimes take my photocamera along. When I gain control of myself, I may also get interested in language studies (which has practically nothing in common with the supposedly main direction of my high-school studies), but, as I'm lazy, I have not reached much success in this field. English studies have lasted for about 12 years, so I'm generally able to express my thoughts in the language, whereas my Francais is rather poor as yet, and of Deutch I have gained only the basics (which probably won't even help me not to starve to death or to find the way should I find myself all alone in Germany ). So I'm not going to Germany. Instead of that, it's rather likely that this summer I'll appear in Canada, so I'll probably learn something about how people live there from true practice. And, finally, I know nothing about making flash, I do not write or play music, I do not write software programmes and my knowledge of web-design is limited to html tags. Pretty dull, isn't it, so what's the point in the whole post? You do not know? Me neither.

Hello everyone! I thought I may as well post here too.
My name is Kali (male) and I am an author. I travel quiet a bit and I am not really sure as to what place I should call home. I have spent time everywhere from Europe to Hawaii and can never seem to settle down in one place for too long. Too much to do and see in the world to be satisfied with living in only on place! Right now I am in Ohio where I live with my friend Matt in his apartment. I have been here for a year so far and I plan to stay for only a year more before picking up and changing scenes once again. In the mean time I occupy myself with writing and teaching woman's kick boxing and children's martial arts classes in Silverton. A strange mix I know. Now look how I have started to ramble. Nice to meet all of you!

Pretty dull, isn't it, so what's the point in the whole post? You do not know? Me neither. *stage whisper* Psst, Roamer, Swedes don't like Russians! Now would be the time to say that one of your great grandparents is Jewish and that you really don't feel Russian at all and that living in Moscow is an unfortunate circumstance that is totally beyond your control!... *ahem* Anyways, I'm 18 (on June5), live in Toronto (Canada), and one of my great grandparents happens to be Jewish. The others are indeed mostly Russian, and I was born in Moscow and lived there for a little while. I lived in Israel for a few years 10 years ago, and forgot every word of the language within a year of coming to Canada (wait, not every word... I know "shalom" and "haverim"!). I quite like Canada (Nova Scotia especially), and even Toronto can be nice once you discover all the cultural activities that go on. My interests include exploration (scientific or other), literature, music (esp. classical, jazz, & folk), art, animation (working on my first one right now), film, a few sports (tennis, crosscountry skiing, downhill skiing), and a lot of other things in general. I speak & read 3 languages (Russian, English, French), and I like to travel to various different cultures. So far, I've been to: Russia, Israel, Poland, Canada (Ontario, Nova Scotia, Nunavut), USA (a few states on the upper east & west coasts), Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. One of my favourite places to visit was probably Sweden; Stockholm was the cleanest & most well-designed city I'd ever seen (although me coming during a holiday when everybody was away probably had something to do with that), and hiking down from Narvik in Norway down into Sweden was a great experience (although the trail markedly deteriorates once you enter Sweden because for some stupid reason they chose to make the signposts ORANGE, which is the colour of every other piece of moss on the tundra!). You know, visiting the IKEA store in Toronto is like visiting a part of Sweden all over again. Your country has a great Public Relations campaign, Ola! Do you know any other company that exports everything about its country the way that IKEA does? Everything in Sweden seemed designed more for ease-of-use and comfort than in other countries; even the royal palace felt like a place that you could actually live in. The people I met in Stockholm were nice, too (though not as nice as the people in Nova Scotia). But truly, I got an underlying feeling that Sweden has still not forgiven Russia for taking Finland from them 300 years ago and stripping them of their superpower status. Just as an example, in the coin museum there was one Russian coin, and even that was mislabeled (it was actually Ukranian). Anyway, I think the Russian government is mostly to blame for western hostility; they still have $120 mandatory visas for visitors, they don't reach out to the Russian communities in other countries, and none of their major newspapers are printed in other languages (whereas many foreign tv channels and newspapers have Russian editions). Most Russians inside the country still honestly believe that the rest of the world is a paradise, and even most of those who live in other countries still think the same thing (except for the minority who follow politics, who've realized that it's almost exactly the same everywhere, just that corporations are now in the place of government institutions). It all adds up to a really bad PR job... Anyways, I'm rambling. Carry on, everyone!
