Hello there everyone!
August has passed and autumn is here once again.
During this month I have been diving deeper into Anime Studio and explored how I should build up the characters. I have especially studied shading and colouring as well at point animation. I have noticed that I can create rather realistic shading, even if Anime studio does not have any form of advanced gradient tools. Instead it comes with a effect toolkit that have proven very useful.
I have made a test face animation on one of the purely evil Shadow pixies. This test is just to study the movement of shadows in its face.

Also have a look at the camera moving in on Anna’s summer house that I released last month.

The top banner animation on the forum was originally made for the old "Nim’s journey" site accompanied with a poem. I have expanded the banner a bit so that I can also give you the poem:
"The cold wind tore past the plains and left nothing untouched. The grassy fields looked like a stormy sea with rolling waves and gushing gale. Alone and brave stood the ancient Oak with strong branches reaching towards the sky. For ages she has lived, and thousands of memories rested within her lonesome soul. It seemed like the wind became in love with her, he swept through her branches and embraced her leafs. He would tear them away, one by one, relieving her from her summer gown. Leaving her naked to the world; dressed in nothing but cold, bare bark.
The little figure stood firm, holding his wandering stick with a tight grip. He looked towards the horizon, to where his wanderings often took him. He shivered a bit, wrapped his scarf tighter, thinking quietly to himself.
"Autumn has arrived to the Border plains".
Have a nice September everyone!
