Oh wow, I had totally missed that post, my apologies too, Ola! Great stuff there, the video captures the moods quite well. Catchy songs, too. Wondering though, is there a reason for the common road/travelling theme? Thought perhaps it was something in the lyrics that I obviously wouldn't get... Don´t be sorry, sometimes there are more inportant thing going on than hanging around here(: Regarding the lyrics, I guess you are right. The name of the song is, roughly translated, " we are sitting in the same car". I believe there is something that gets to you about traveling. I remember when I was travelling in Burkina Faso, West Africa, when I heard a good old country song in the radio of the car. The feeling was undescribable. So what I want to say with this is, music and travelling are strolling down the alley hand in hand.

The new goobersite is up and running. It has taken a while for it to be complete, but now it is here. There are a few things that will be corrected along the way. I will try to translate the site into a few new languages, so if anyone feels up to it, please fire away. I can give you all the texts.
Please give me some feedback on the site if you like.

How come when you got married your last name changed, Ola? In North America it's generally the woman who changes her name, I don't know if I can get used to saying Schubuurlertetc...Bergner is much easier to remember.

Maybe Ola decided to be a contrarian. Schubert was a famous composer, so I find it pretty easy to remember.

I vote for 'all the texts' to be uploaded and given a link to on this forum. Eventually they'll get translated into some languages UPDATE: I've noticed some problems that I didn't face when dealing with the test version of the new site. I use 1024*768, but the text on artistic versions, except for the 1280* one, is for some reason way too small, barely readeable. Also, the 'down below' area lags severely, especially on load and on unload of the picture itself. Maybe it's something with my PC today, however. Hope so.

The 'Down Below' camera move effect doesn't lag for me. 0_o It might have been your computer.

Thanks for the tip.

It's been awhile since any news has popped up. I've checked from time to time to time. It's been awhile since last time. I see you've got some new film on your 2008 show real, but not out for the public yet. Well we're quiet but we're still in anticipation.

Hi there, and thanks for the post!
Yes, I have not been very good at keeping this forum up to date, but I hope I will be able to change all that soon enought. Regarding the film you have seen on the showreel it is a one minute episode that me and another guy (Nicola Smanio) made at my old work, but as I am not working there anymore the serie will unfortunately not continue. But it is a thrilling one minute ride(: I will put it up at the end of the week.
Cheers!

Wow, that showreel is quite impressive! And there's a new scene from the robot movie in it! How's that coming along? I hope that all of these projects have nevertheless left you some time to create your own art. EDIT: That reminds me... I really should have mentioned this job opening to you: z7.invisionfree.com/Brackenwood/index.php?showtopic=13757You're very good at background paintings, so I think you would've been perfect for it. I'm not sure if they're still looking for someone, but if you're looking for work it can't hurt emailing them.

Well, I am continuing to dive deeper inte Anime Studio, and I will try to put up some tests here in the coming days, just so you can see what it is about. But I am really happy to have found this program.
The robot film has not developed so much yet, but I feel I have to make a short with her, just to saticfy myself. It might not be the original story idea, but at least so something do give you lot(:

Hello there, been some time. Just read thru the second story board and clicked around here and there on the new forums, blog etc. Some things i thought i mention. The animation of the raven is really nice, i had some looks at it, but didnt obsess with details yet, maybe i have some fresh ideas on it later. I was trying to access the background tutorials on the www.nimsjourney.com/ page, but it doesnt show when i click the 2 small previews? Is there something missing? I am just asking, because i am starting some idea i had a while ago and am thinking about the backgrounds currently. I have no clue how to start really, its always hard to get going... I want to decided if i use vectors as background or a more painted look... I'd love to see more off the robot too
