I was originally going to send a PM to Ola, but I figured that this board needs all the posts it can get. Congratulations on the new redesign! Unfortunately, it doesn't really work in my browser resolution (800x600). The preview version which you recently showed us was fine because it opened in a regular, scrolling window, whereas this opens in a non-scrolling window. Maybe you could make it open in a scrolling window (or give the choice), to accomodate the resolution-disabled among us? Really, it fits onto my screen fine, I just need to scroll down a bit. By the way, have you given a thought to updating the Nim's Journey journal? You could have something like that 3-month-combined entry you had in 2005, only this one would take up 11 months. It would look quite funny, if nothing else, and you would have the satisfaction of being up to date. And congratulations on your new name... Ola Schubert. Of all things, to have the surname of a famous composer! I guess I should move that wikipedia entry now...

Hi there and thanks!
I realise the problem with different screen reselutions, I will change that so you can choose for yourself. I will also make sure that the scroll function works.
I am working on a update for Nim´s journey aswell, it will be updated next week. I have to go, see you soon!

Hi there, right now I am working with a new indexpage for Nim's Journey, it will be up in a couple of days I hope. Like the Nim's Journey site there will be a day page and a night page, depending on the local clock. ´ Daytime screen: Nighttime screen Random pixies will walk forth and back over the screen. The idea is to let you make your own pixie if you feel like. I have put up a .fla file that you can use. In the file you will find a walking pixie. It is allready animated, so if you dont like to animate the walk for yourself, you can just change the looks of it. If it looks ok, then I will put it up on the site togeather with the name you would like your pixie to have. Ok? The file can be found here: www.goober.nu/journey/forum/Proboard/PixieConceptMX.zipSend the zipped .Fla file to me at ola@goober.nu

Do you need Flash to open the zip? My PC doesn't recognize the files, and a search led me to believe only Flash will open it...

Yes, you should be able to open the zip, but you need flash to open the file within the zip. But you can also sketch a pixie that I can create it for you.

I'm going to get on with making my pixie tommorow. I assume I just have to edit the symbols. Should be fun.

It's great to see Nim's Journey on the move again! I absolutely cannot wait! The new design of the website is absolutely astounding. Kudos on juggling both hard work and family commitment so well!
Keep up the awesome work, Ola!

The pixie-file I put up is not the MX version of Flash, you will need at least MX2004. Later I might be able to put up a MX version but as I don´t have MX2004 installed right now it might take some time. From MX2004 you can save the file for the MX format.

The Nim´s Journey Index site will be up soon, I am fiddling with a script that I have to solve first. Then it will be on the move.
I am also designing Annas summerhouse right now, it will be used in the first chapter of the film.
I will post a image later on. Cheers!

Wow. Cool! I cannot wait to see the new and improved Nim's Journey website. I must ask, how can you expand on the Nim's Journey website when it is already perfect? I mean, is it necessary to remake the webpage, then rather focus on the film itself?
In less offending words (sorry!), what was the reason as to why you decide to remake the webpage and implement the Pixie Concept? =]

I am not remaking the website, only the index page, that is the first site you get to before entering the site itself. The image now is a sort of flower.
