Yo man whats up? I recently checked out your flash on newgrounds.com and holy freakin crap man that is freakin amazing, I am ver yimpressed with both the animation and visuals that you have shown in your work. I was wondering, you used macromedia flash right? And if so, how long did it take to complete Nim's Journey? I am someone who is very very interested in animation but I am a very crappy artist and can't draw for crap and know that to be a talented animator you need art. Also, I don't know any of the high valued techniques that gives each animation a special uniqueness. Aight well, awsome flash. Peace.

Wow, I just watched your movies and as Alex said earlier the people of newgorunds get very few submissions of this quality. I can say you've got my vote in the next round on monthly prize givings. Nim's winter tale sure brightened my day.
How long does it take you to make one of these? From dabbling in flash myself (simple flash) I can just look at the art and animtion and tell it took awhile to make. I'm already looking forward to Nim's journey.

Hi there UJ and Enoll, thanks for your very positive comments.
Nim´s Winter Tale took me only two months part-time from sketch to finished work. But I knew exactly what to do then. The storyboarding went smoothly as did everything else. The real work was The Gooberstory that took me a year to accomplish, when I first started that project I was quite new to flash. But at the end of it I had learned so much, I knew most of the problems and how to deal with them. I could use this knowledge in Nim´s Winter Tale. Nim´s Journey is a really huge project. The films so far have not included any talking characters, or at least, you can’t see them. Nim´s journey will be different in many ways.

Wow Ola, I've never even met you and I'm excited about this! But don't get too overwhelmed, you have plenty of time to read all the reviews. Thanks! I feel like the same, butI am one person, and you are thousands, how can I ever learn to know all of you?

I'm pretty sure many people already added you to their "Favorite author list" and added your submissions to their "Favorite submissions list". I would be curious to know how many added you in only a day. (If you do not know how to check, just go to your Grounds Gold account, and you should see it, it's some links on the left of the menu)... That should be intriguing ! :] ALEX 109 people as fav author and 192 choose to ad Nim's Winter Tale as their Fav Movie.

Ola, would it be possible to add a link to this message board on your main site? It's a bit annoying having to wait for the Nim's Journey flash site to load each time I want to come here... thanks.

Wow. So many people have already added you in their favorites in a DAY ! I told you your movies would make a severe impact. In 4 years of NG carreer, with about 15 movies or so, 18 people added me to their Fav.Author ! (which is already a lot, but mostly are friends and stuff lol). That being said, I think that you should now stop reading NG reviews for your own sake lol!You can go crazy reading all of them haha. Now that your movies have been totally advertised, you're gonna get a massive flow of everything: views, votes, reviews, frequented asked questions and everything. It can be pretty much stressing, and you can't keep score of everything, of course! So that's about it. Can you imagine what you have achieved, even though I wasn't very much surprised since I expected it : - You've got FrontPage. - You're in the TOP50 of all times. - 5 awards. - Thousands of views, maybe millions in a year. Here's a little "montage" picture just for the sake of it :] Excuse the low quality... EDIT : Esn, just add the link of the forum to your favorites !

No, I can not imagine it... it really is too much. I will just have to make sure I do not spend all the time on messageboards and writing mails, I have to do some work aswell

Hello, Nice work! I saw your movies at NG and was impressed with the work. It is nice to se some Swedish ppl there. I like the Swedish folklore so I think it is super that you are creating this movies. I can't wait to hear more about Nim's Journey after I have seen the Winter story. The mood of the Winter story is VERY nice you can really touch it. The music is also very good it surley ads to the feeling.
Lycka till med skapandet av detta underbara projekt!

Ola,
I saw your two films in new grounds and it was the best animation i ever saw in new grounds. I very much liked Nim's Journey. Specially the part when he pulled the knot that was holding the hourses food. It made me laugh when i saw Nim with out his hat. He looks realy funny without the hat.
Im amazed of the animation you did just using flash. And the way you created the backgrounds, wow that was realy cool. I use photoshop too, but i cant make anything like that. I cant wait, too see more of the tutorials from your site.

Hi Ola. Great work! I just got blown away by the beatiful art and how it matched so perfectly with the music in both Gooberstory and Nim's Wintertale. Btw Nim's Wintertail got over 45.000 views in like 1 day! I remember years ago when i putted the Porridge out to see if it was eaten next day -Keep it up!
